The Private Equity Partner Development Manager role is the quarterback role in Microsoft's engagement with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies. In this role, you will work with senior investors and operators at leading PE firms to shape and deliver their technology and investment strategies, building mind share and broadening the use of Microsoft platforms. Your responsibilities will include identifying appropriate Private Equity firms with whom to partner; driving

Lead the relationship with select Private Equity firms, with the goal of creating positive network effects for Microsoft within the PE firm's portfolio. Through developing credibility and 'trusted advisor status,' you will execute a relationship agreement with PE firms and drive engagements with portfolio companies. You will be the face of Microsoft to the Private Equity firm and are responsible for creating and driving an actionable strategic relationship with the firm. You will be responsible for orchestrating resources across Microsoft to identify value and opportunity at portfolio companies
Location: San Francisco Bay Area or NYC Area (preferred), will also consider Chicago and Seattle 10+ years of experience in business strategy consulting, technology business development, TMT investment banking, M and A advisory, or VC/PE business development or operating group experience Working knowledge of cloud computing business models and market adoption paths for SaaS/microservice companies Experience with technology platforms and solutions with a reasonable level of technical proficiency Extensive experience of managing virtual teams across functions and geographies: Inclusive and collaborative
