The Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to drive the creation of tools and features to help self-published authors around the world reach readers and earn a living from their craft. At KDP you will join a thriving business that has revolutionized reading and the way authors of any level engage the millions of readers that shop on Amazon. In this role you will have tangible impact on authors, content providers and readers, working across teams to identify customer needs and define features and roadmap to help authors grow their reach and earn more. The successful candidate is passionate about creating great author experience and able to work backwards from the customer to drive product direction. She or he must be highly analytical, able to manage a variety of priorities, and think strategically while also staying connected to the details
· Bachelor’s degree from a top university, or appropriate work experience on well-loved technology products. · 1+ years post-MBA, or 3+ years’ work experience performing relevant product management job functions. · Experience working with engineering teams to deliver customer facing products · MBA degree · Proven ability to influence · Strong record of developing clear, data driven recommendations · Ability to write compelling, concise documents · Strong judgement and proven ability to balance competing priorities · Ability to work across business, marketing, UX and technical teams and stakeholders
