Emerging Country Customer Fulfillment (ECCF) is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Software Development to lead our ECCF Technology team. ECCF organization manages the operation of emerging countries WW including Australia, Brazil, China, Mexico, Middle East and North Africa, and other potential countries. Emerging countries are the future growth engine for Amazon’s consumer business. However, emerging countries constantly face unique challenges on both customer expectation and cost, which require innovative technical and business solutions. As a result, ECCF Technology team is established to develop technical solution and complement global technology team to solve unique challenge and accelerate emerging country businesses. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading this ECCF Technology team in design, development, test, and deployment of these services. The development teams are currently located in Brazil, Jordan, and UAE but the leader has opportunity to develop future growth
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline · 10+ years of experience as a software developer and/or software development manager · 5+ years of experience managing software development teams · Software development experience in OOP, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Linux/UNIX, Flash, various AWS Services. · Deep hands-on technical expertise · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Strong business and technical vision · Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment · A deep understanding of software development
