Do you like to help AWS customers learn about AWS services? Do you want to organize labs that help customers accelerate the path to production? AWS DBS Services covers a range of database, analytics, and AI platforms including Amazon Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, ElastiCache, Neptune, Elasticsearch, EMR, Athena, Machine Learning, AWS Database Migration Service, Glue, and more. As new services and features are added, our customers need help understanding how they can get the most value. We need you to help organize and manage AWS Data Labs, a program to help customers accelerate their success with AWS services. AWS Data Lab is seeking a Sr. Manager, Product Management, to manage and lead the team shaping the future of this growing program while ensuring high quality delivery to our current customers. You’ll need to balance Amazon’s internal needs with our drive to champion the needs of our customers. How to tell if you’ll love this role: You are passionate about the people you lead: their
· 5+ years of experience as a manager of product/program managers · 10+ years of experience as a product/program manager · A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent) · Basic understanding of the Enterprise services space, particularly database and analytics · Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally · Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion · Attention to details and a proactive self-starter · Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
