The Role: Manage Project Kuiper’s sub-teams owning success of a significant portion of a satellite project architecture, design, schematic, bring-up, and integration of multiple avionics systems. Pick appropriate key technologies, components, and board stack-ups, and drive the teams which guarantee reliable, power efficient, and highly capable solutions. You will tackle challenging, novel situations every day and have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon in different locations
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience - 10+ years of experience in hardware development across full product life cycles - concept to production - 10+ years of experience in board partitioning, component selection, design for manufacturing and high reliability, and optimization for cost, power, and performance - Experience with board level control systems for mechanical, power, motors, and etc. - 8+ years of electrical engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: cellular, PC server / high-end networking, aerospace, robotics, or automotive
