The Transportation and Recipient Experience Design Studio (TRX) is a multidisciplinary team in Amazon Operations responsible for the design of many exciting products including Amazon Flex, Amazon Locker, and more. Teams of designers, design technologists, writers, researchers, and producers work collaboratively in our studios to create the next generation of delivery experiences for Amazon customers. We are looking for Principal UX Designer. You will work side by side with a talented team of product managers, and software developers in an agile environment to develop product concepts, define requirements and priorities, build and launch to market. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, customer obsession, ability to influence, and exceptional communication skills are essential to success in this role. · 10+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role · 5+ years of experience leading work/as a senior creative contributor · Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or 10+ years equivalent professional experience · A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user-centered design solutions · Experience designing for the web and mobile device experiences · Experience in design thinking methodologies, from research, design, to building tangible outcomes · Proficiency with a variety of design
