We are working backwards from our customers to deliver on the promise of a true voice-powered AI assistant. We are searching for a User Experience Designer that will own the interaction models and design for customers interacting with Alexa across a range of experiences including mobile, touch, and voice. In this role you would: · Create world-class, user-centered designs through consideration of market research, business requirements, customer feedback, and usability study findings · Design the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flows of experiences that bridge voice, multimodal, web, and mobile applications · Collaborate directly with VUI designers and the Research team to ensure a consistent and delightful experience across all customer touch points · Partner with the Product Management team
· Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent design-related field · 5+ years of experience as an interaction designer, user interface designer, conversational designer or similar role · Design experience on tablet, mobile, or television consumer devices · Experience with Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, or their functional equivalents · Experience working directly with developers for implementation of designs · A portfolio demonstrating relevant design experience with work samples showcasing process sketches, design documentation, detailed design presentations and the resulting customer impact· Master’s
