The Amazon Web Services (AWS) team is seeking a talented and passionate Lead Product Designer designer to join our growing design and research studio. This design leader will have a significant impact on one core product area, owning design end-to-end while managing a small team of 1-3 direct reports in a similar design space. Throughout the strategy, design, and development lifecycle, the leader will work collaboratively with a strong design team, engineers, product managers and executives. · 8+ years of industry experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar design-related role. · Experience leading full-stack product design · Previous experience managing individual contributors, ideally while occupying a hybrid Design Lead role. · Experience creating prototypes or wire-frames for complex web applications and/or workflows. · An online portfolio demonstrating samples of design deliverables (personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes) is required to apply for this role. · Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
