Microsoft's Speech and Dialogue Research Group (SDRG) is looking for a few extremely talented senior researchers to work on cutting edge research in the following areas: Speech Recognition, Dialogue, Natural Language Processing, Far Field Audio capture, and advanced Machine Learning frameworks for all aspects of machine mediated spoken language communication.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of broadly recognized research results at leading conferences and publications. In the case of industry candidates, you will also have demonstrated the ability to take research results and transfer them into commercial products Essential attributes and competencies include: Passion for discovering the next generation of Human Parity technologies in Speech and Dialogue Excellence in strategic thinking and design/project planning experience Ability to work effectively in a distributed environment Proven track record in leading R and D
6+ years of experience in your applicable field Excellent interpersonal and public communication skills, empathy, and cross-group experience PhD in computer science or related field Extensive publication record Proven track record of technology transfer
