Senior Software Engineer
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build the next generation data processing pipelines that are in the critical path of Microsoft's core Speech Recognition model training platform. As one of Microsoft's most exciting Artificial Intelligence initiatives, Speech Recognition is driving the accuracy and robustness of natural user interfaces, powering experiences such as Cortana, Skype speech to speech translation, Office and HoloLens, just to name a few. Our group brings together talents in the areas of speech recognition, machine learning, cloud, distributed systems and deep learning to develop and deliver robust, natural and scalable speech recognition experiences across a rich set of scenarios and languages. Required Qualifications: Bachelor or Masters in CS/EE or other technical degree. 5+ years designing, developing and shipping high quality software. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in C#, Java or C++ Large scale systems design and programming in an academic or commercial setting. Previous experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g. Azure or AWS) is a plus. .NET experience is a plus.
