For this opening, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer. The candidate must be able to understand and be adept at developing embedded hardware, including a wide range of sensors, circuits, and algorithms. He or she will work with a multi-interdisciplinary team of researchers from hardware, computer vision, and optics. The goal is to create the next generation of devices and user experiences. You will need a good eye for identifying interesting areas for investigation, creativity to generate compelling new concepts, and the ability to quickly test and express these concepts in the form
QUALIFICATIONS: Deep experience Embedded hardware development Analog and digital circuit design Firmware development for microcontrollers Programming and optimization in C CAD tools for schematic capture and circuit board layout Highly valued experience in one or more of the following Formal methods of signal processing and/or control Sensors of all types (e.g.: cameras, microphones, force, strain, inertial, GPS, Doppler, optical, ultra-sound) Software development for WinAPI and/or Linux Fluency in scripting languages for prototyping (MATLAB, Python, etc.) A strong drive to experiment, prototype
