The OE Design Director will be part of the core team that defines and drives the design vision of the game while being a source of inspiration and leadership for the entire team. The ideal candidate possesses boundless imagination, a deep understanding of the game development process, the ability to ideate, combined with the skills to communicate and direct the design efforts of the team. The ideal candidate must have a great passion for games with social features, a desire to build a strong community, as well as a deep understanding of various business models found in both mobile and AAA games. Responsibilities Reporting to the Design Manager, you will work with the other team and discipline leads to define the product's design vision and execute on that vision with excellence. You will help develop the overall direction and growth of the organization and champion the values of design among the senior leadership team. Requirements 8+ years working in a design capacity on at least 2+ shipped AAA titles (or live services) with a focus on Social and Microtransaction systems as a Lead Designer or higher Experience leading a design team through all phases of development from concept to ship A deep and passionate understanding of various business models across all genres of games and beyond Experience developing systems that engage players after they put down their controller A comprehensive understanding of player psychology and what drives them to return to an experience Experienced manager who understands how to
