The Retail Experience Design team makes shopping on Amazon more personal and human. We guide the vision and customer experience for Amazon’s mobile shopping apps, community products such as Customer Reviews, core shopping such as the home page, and products like AmazonSmile. We are seeking a talented User Experience Program Manager to help guide the product design team as they define and drive innovation for our product across the mobile experience, world-wide. In this position you’ll have a significant impact on the customer experience as you take a leadership role in driving the UX and Design direction as the mobile shopping experience on Amazon.com rapidly evolves. You will work collaboratively with design, engineering, and other stakeholders to guide user experience design throughout the planning, development, and release lifecycle for a multitude of customer scenarios to deliver innovative solutions that are effortless, intuitive and delight our customers. The Senior UX Program Manager
· BA/BS in experimental psychology, cognitive science, human computer interaction or other related area. · 5+ years experience as a UX Program Manager, Product Manager, Producer, or similar role · Experience leading a team through multiple product development cycles · Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills · Passion for user experience and design · 5+ years releasing large-scale products the serve 1 million customers or more · 5+ years collaborating deeply with design leaders · Measurable evidence optimizing release cycles and quality
