Innovative Store Designer responsible for the implementation and customization of brand design standards as they translate into physical stores. This position collaborates with internal and external cross-functional teams to manage the execution of multiple end-to-end projects at any given time. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and has a deep passion for innovative physical-retail design. This is someone who is obsessed with creating world-class shopping experiences for our customers at both the micro and macro level. Outstanding project management and communication skills, both written and verbal are required. The role’s key responsibilities will include: · Translates brand design standards and concepts in an innovative yet fiscally responsible way · Reviews the site survey to ensure jurisdictional and landlord requirements are incorporated into the design of the store. · Completes test fits and feasibility studies for potential locations
· Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in architecture or interior design · 5+ years of commercial interior design or architecture experience · Experience in: Architecture/ Retail Design; Design Development, Construction / Permit Documentation; Custom Furniture/Fixture Design; Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp software · Demonstrated ability in industry trends, building and health codes, 3D visualization, and color and design principles · Demonstrated ability to communicate design vision in visual, written, and verbal formats · Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an extremely fast paced, ambiguous environment
