Amazon Fuse is a newly launched product and team at Amazon. The Fuse team works closely with international partners and subscription services. The Fuse team is seeking an experienced software QA engineer to contribute to the development of a product that will be used by multiple Amazon businesses through dozens of international markets. This new system provides the opportunity to work with cross functional teams across Amazon. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer on Fuse, you will work with internal teams as well as external customers. You will join the team of hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated and seasoned software professionals. In this role, you will: · Create test plans and test cases · Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products · Review product user interface for conformity to design guidelines · Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution · Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent · 5+ years of software QA testing experience with black and grey box functional testing · Experience testing with financial systems, mobile, and web · Demonstrated expertise in black, white box and grey box testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles · Highly methodical test discipline, applicable to all product UI · Creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness · Solid understanding of
