Microsoft Studios is looking for a talented Software Development Engineer to handle a wide range of technical challenges which enable the broader Microsoft Studios Portfolio. We are looking for someone with a track record of energetic innovation and creative vision that connect with a deep passion to deliver great customer experiences. We are currently looking for an experienced engineer for a team responsible for tools used across the entire Microsoft Studios portfolio. In addition to strong development acumen, desirable candidates will have strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across organizational boundaries. Candidates should be results oriented, self-motivated, and able to ramp quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Manage development deliverables as well as write code. Define/drive development policies/best practices for team. Have outstanding problem solving skills, creativity, and passion for innovation and design. Have a willingness to work in an agile, iterative development environment. Analyze data and articulate problems and solutions of wider scope. Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements from internal Microsoft customers .
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise scale services and platforms 5+ years of experience in C/C++, C# with solid analytical, debugging and problem solving skills At least 1 year of hands on experience with Angular JS/Knockout/Bootstrap related frameworks At least 1 year of hands on experience with HTML5 / CSS / CSS3 At least 1 year of hands on experience with coding on JavaScript / Typescript At least 1 year of hands on experience with a Relational Database (e.g. SQL) BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
