Software Development Engineer in Test, DCCS (Level 5) Amazon Digital Content and Commerce Systems (DCCS) is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET II) to join our team of Senior SDET’s and Principle Engineers in building highly visible, robust automation tools and framework to tackle hard to solve problems. DCCS enables Amazon device and subscription businesses to innovate faster and deliver more for customers while ensuring reliability, scale, security and cost efficiency by building services and tools that are self-serviceable and configurable. The SDET II role offers a unique opportunity to develop test tools to be used horizontally across a broad number of teams from content ingestion through commerce and purchase flows to royalties, content provider payments, and accounting integration. This role’s primary focus is to align distributed technologies together to consistently deliver exceptional customer experience. As a QA champion on the engineering team, you will
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2 years relevant work experience, or 4+ years relevant work experience. · Knowledge of, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl. · Experience building and designing test cases. · Experience with testing methodologies (unit, Scrum). · Familiarity with various software technologies, methodologies and applied software engineering practices/standards such as Object Oriented Design (OOD), Tomcat, Struts, REST, and Spring. · Automation experience (test, integration, build/release) in a distributed environment
