Are you ready to build high throughput distributed systems to perform anomaly detection and forecasting at scale? Our vision is to provide forecasting and detection of anomalous costs and usage to help our customers better understand and anticipate their AWS costs. You will build new systems and services that handle billions of usage records from across all AWS services to provide to produce actionable insight for our customers. AWS Insights helps customers access, organize, understand, control, and optimize their AWS costs and usage. We provide a scalable platform to support AWS’ expanding business and to help Enterprise-level customers make large dollar-value decisions based on the timeliness, accuracy, and detail of the data provided by our products. You will take on architectural challenges and use forecasting algorithms to produce insights from billions of usage records and make them accessible to customers via APIs and interactive experiences. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ year relevant experience. · Shown skill with Java, C++, or equivalent object-oriented programming languages. · Knowledge about functional programming in Scala/Java8 · Strong problem solving and analytical abilities. · Understanding of algorithmic design and complexity analysis. • MS in Computer Science or equivalent • 5+ years of industry experience. • Experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems for commercial online services. • Strong analytical abilities and design skills. • Strong sense of ownership,
