The SCM team is responsible for building inventory and warehouse management systems that enable control of our global footprint for our hyper-growth cloud and automate the orchestration required to ensure physical and financial control of inventory. As a software development engineer on the team, you will be responsible guiding your team through the design, development, testing, and deployment of a range of products. In addition, you will help build the roadmaps for software teams, developing cutting edge experiences
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent · 1+ years' professional experience in software development · Fundamentals in object-oriented programming using Java or C/C++, preferably on Linux/Unix platform · Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and distributed systems · Strong sense of ownership, customer obsession, and drive · Strong focus on clean code and robust design. · Excellent written and verbal communications skills · Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills · Experience developing machine learning software · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements
