We design, develop, and deploy high performance, fault-tolerant distributed search systems used by millions of Amazon customers every day. In this role you will: · Design, implement, and execute failure injection experiments to identify vulnerabilities in the Search service. · Ensure Amazon Search remains resilient to hardware failures, dependency outages, and traffic spikes. · Collaborate with component owners to remedy vulnerabilities, minimize blast radius, and harden the Search service. · Research cutting edge tools and practices in resilience engineering and adopt them as appropriate.
