Mechanical Design Engineer - Avionics We're looking for an outstanding Mechanical Engineer with a background in electronics enclosures and electronics manufacturing. The successful candidate will combine superb technical, research and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top-notch developers and collaborating with research teams. The ideal candidate will have experience designing entire electro-mechanical systems as well as detailed parts and mechanical sub-systems. They must enjoy problem solving and possess practical knowledge of prototype design as well as high-volume production manufacturing methods as it pertains to mechanical systems. · Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Material Science or related field and 5+ years of relevant work experience. · Strong Mathematical/Statistical/Physics fundamentals. · Experience designing and analyzing robust mechanical systems. · Practical knowledge of how to quickly prototype designs as well as experience with high-volume production manufacturing methods. · Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines. · Experience in communicating with end users, business teams
