The Role: Be part of the team defining the system level architecture of Project Kuiper’s broadband wireless system from customer end points to terrestrial gateways via Low Earth Orbit satellites. This is a unique opportunity to define a groundbreaking wireless solution with few legacy constraints. The team analyzes customer requirements for overall throughput / availability of the network, assignment of resources to each customer area, coordination of spectrum with regulators and other users of the spectrum, and optimization of link budgets and system trade-offs In this role you will: · Work within a project team and take responsibility for high bandwidth wireless system architecture validation · Create simulation models representative of the target system in
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience · 5+ years of experience in wireless systems design and / or RF design implementation · Experience in wireless system design and architecture, system integration, RF system analysis · Experience with simulation of RF standards like (4G/5G), 802.11, DVB-S2 / DVB-C, OR similar broadband wireless standards · 5+ years of experience developing code in Matlab, C, C++, or Python, and experience with industry standard coding and regression practices · RF or Communications System design background
