Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of Amazon’s fastest growing businesses. We are passionate about thinking big, innovating on behalf of our customers, and tackling problems at scale. Cloud computing is disrupting industries everywhere, and we are eagerly seeking talented, entrepreneurial-minded individuals to join us as we continue to build on the AWS platform.

Are you a customer-obsessed builder with a passion for helping customers achieve their full potential?

Do you have the business savvy, security industry background, and sales skills necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for customers? Do you love building new strategic and data-driven businesses? Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Security GTM team as a WW Security Specialist.

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Specialists and Partners (ASP)

organization and is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest

growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.

Within WWSO, this position is part of the Security, Identity & Governance (SIG) Specialist team, where

you will help drive global go-to-market strategy and execution for AWS Security services through

partner-led motions. The team builds and scales mechanisms that enable AWS partners to deliver

exceptional security outcomes for customers, driving adoption of services including Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub and Security Hub Extended, AWS IAM Identity Center, Amazon Macie, AWS WAF, AWS Shield, AWS Network Firewall, and AWS Secrets Manager. As a Senior WW Security GTM Specialist, you will develop and execute partner GTM strategies across one or more SIG domains (AI Security, Network Security, Identity, Data Protection, Threat Detection, Governance), working with ISVs, system integrators, and managed security service providers to create and convert pipeline into revenue for AWS Security services.

Key job responsibilities

- Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of AWS Security services through partner channels, thinking through challenges on a 1-3+ year time scale.

- Develop and execute domain-specific partner GTM plans including partner segmentation and tiering (Tier 1 GSIs, Tier 2 Regional/Specialty SIs, Tier 3 ISV co-sell candidates), customer propensity analysis by segment and geography, and a three-pillar execution framework covering enablement, integration, and seller awareness.

- Drive partner enablement and capability building through programs such as AWS PartnerEquip: Live, ensuring partners can effectively position, sell, and deliver AWS Security services.

- Create and execute demand generation campaigns with partners targeting specific customer segments, coordinating with marketing resources to fund and scale activities including customer meetings, qualified pipeline targets, and conversion tracking.

- Own pipeline and revenue reporting for assigned domains, tracking partner-attributed SIG pipeline and revenue through ACE, identifying gaps by service and geography, and intervening to accelerate deal velocity.

- Support field teams in solution building for high-priority customer opportunities where partner capabilities complement AWS Security specialist expertise.

- Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS Security service roadmaps, leveraging partner and customer feedback on threat detection, identity management, data protection, and network security use cases.

- Support service launch partner strategies for new AWS Security services, ensuring partner readiness and go-to-market alignment for strategic launches.

- Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution, including monthly business reviews (MBRs) and 2x2 domain reviews.

- Demonstrate thought leadership and credibly represent AWS Security at industry events, conferences, partner summits, and customer engagements.
