Description
The AWS Website team is looking for a detail-oriented Website Operations Manager to join the AWS Channels Marketing team. The role will work with stakeholders to bring great digital experiences to life, driving operational excellence for the website's biggest launches and day-to-day publishing needs with a mixture of hands-on page creation, request triaging and routing, and cross-functional coordination across global partners.The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple workstreams at one time, and will have a proven track record executing web publishing operations from intake through launch that maintain a high quality bar. This role requires effective cross-functional communication skills, as well as a clear understanding of AWS brand guidelines and standards, website features and tools, and content management capabilities. Moreover, as the operational partner responsible for ensuring seamless web channel updates, they will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end request management, launch coordination, and process optimization for publishing workflows. This is a high-visibility and high-impact workstream that works across AWS Marketing.
Key job responsibilities
Execute and manage day-to-day web publishing requests across AWS digital properties
Triage, route, and prioritize incoming requests with the goal of maintaining operational efficiency and meeting launch timelines
Collaborate with stakeholders across various web, marketing, engineering, UX, product management, and business teams to coordinate website launches and ensure alignment on deliverables and deadlines
Work closely with global operations partners to provide US-hours coverage and ensure continuity of web channel support across time zones, including coordination for large-scale events such as re:Invent
Identify and optimize internal web authoring workflows to create efficiencies and process standards
Approach quality assurance (QA) with a high degree of rigor to ensure the customer experience meets a high quality bar before publication
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience managing intake workflows and prioritizing competing requests
- Experience in digital publishing and content production timelines and process
- Experience leading website operational workflows and cross-functional coordination
- Experience with web content management, specifically with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other enterprise CMS
Extended Qualifications
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or advertising campaigns from concept to completion- Experience with project management and workflow tracking tools such as Asana, JIRA, Workfront, or similar platforms
- Experience coordinating across distributed or global teams spanning multiple time zones
- Experience with quality assurance processes for web content and digital launches
- Experience managing production teams and assigning work based on intake priority
- Experience supporting large-scale digital events or campaigns with complex operational requirements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
