AWS Infrastructure and Networking Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure including Reliability Services. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

We are looking for an end-to-end UX Designer that is excited by deeply technical services and being able to zoom in on build the next generation of resilient tools that make AWS better and more effective than ever.

Reliability Services is a a group of products like Fault Injection Services and Resilient Infrastructure in AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) that is ready to invent and evolve their experiences into its next phase focusing on the end-to-end customer journey. In a time when getting internet traffic fast and stable is more important than ever, this role will be key in how AWS meets the needs of our customers while the internet continues to scale.

AWS Fault Injection Service (AWS FIS) is a managed service that enables you to perform fault injection experiments on your AWS workloads. Fault injection is based on the principles of chaos engineering. These experiments stress an application by creating disruptive events so that you can observe how your application responds. You can then use this information to improve the performance and resiliency of your applications so that they behave as expected.

Throughout the strategy, design, and development lifecycle, you will work collaboratively with a strong design team in AIS, engineers, product managers, and executives. In addition, you will be expected to be a design thought leader and mentor other designers. Here you can truly own and mange the end to end product design life-cycle.

We care about your career growth. Once you join the team, you and your manager will jointly craft a career plan and you'll review it regularly to ensure you're on track to meet your goals. Whether your goals are to explore new technologies, take on bigger opportunities, or get to the next level, we'll help you get there. Our business is growing fast and our people will grow with it.

Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren’t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online.
