Description
Are you interested in shaping the future of entertainment? Do you want to define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching?Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV. From one service, we're delivering versatile ways to watch hundreds of thousands of movies, TV series, and live events on the web, mobile, and TV. Our service is available in more than 200 territories globally, and we're just getting started.
Working closely with business and technology partners, we use research, design, and prototyping to guide early product development, bring clarity to engineering goals, and develop a customer-centric point of view.
This is where you come in. As a UX Designer, you'll join our Enterprise team within Prime Video Experience Design, a small group designing the tools that content partners and internal operators use every day. Your focus will be supporting our key B2B product — the platform our partners use to deliver, manage, merchandise, and measure their content on Prime Video. You'll own the design of features end to end, from discovery with real partners through detailed interaction design and developer handoff, on a product where getting the workflow right has a direct effect on what customers can watch and when.
You'll also contribute to our enterprise design system, building and documenting the components and patterns your own work depends on, and helping keep them consistent across our portfolio of partner and operator tools.
You'll use AI-assisted design workflows to move fast, from rapid prototyping through to designing generative AI capabilities into the products themselves. You'll partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and fellow designers to ship high-quality enterprise experiences that simplify complex workflows for content partners, marketers, and internal operators.
You'll be surrounded by senior designers, researchers, and design technologists working the same domain, on problems complex enough to build real depth in.
Key job responsibilities
Design features end to end for the platform our partners use to deliver, manage, merchandise, and measure their content on Prime Video — from framing the customer need through detailed interaction design, specs, and developer handoff
Solve complex design problems where the product direction is set but the right experience is not, structuring ambiguity into clear approaches and communicating trade-offs to Product Management and Engineering
Prototype rapidly using high-fidelity and AI-assisted tools, and design generative AI features into partner and operator workflows — including the trust, review, and error states people need when output is probabilistic
Contribute to our enterprise design system by building, documenting, and improving the components and patterns your team depends on most
Collaborate with UX Researchers and Design Technologists to test prototypes with real customers, gather partner feedback and usage data, and turn those signals into actionable design improvements
A day in the life
Your morning might start with a design review where you walk cross-functional partners through a new content-management workflow, then shift into a working session with an engineer to refine interaction details before a sprint deadline. After lunch you could be running a prototype test with a studio partner, capturing feedback that shapes your next iteration. Between those moments you'll update design-system documentation, sketch out edge cases for an AI-assisted feature, and sync with your product manager on upcoming priorities. You'll close the day contributing to a team critique or mentoring a newer designer on your recent project.
About the team
You'll be joining the Enterprise team within Prime Video Experience Design. We design the tools and workflows used by the content partners, operators, and internal teams who power the Prime Video content supply chain. Our products span partner-facing content management, acquisition, onboarding, publishing, analytics, and marketing automation. Generative AI is changing both what we deliver and how we deliver it, and we're building an enterprise design system that brings coherence and quality to a growing portfolio of tools. We work alongside UX Researchers and Design Technologists, and our enterprise customers are close enough to test what we build and tell us what needs to change.
