Description

AWS Cloud Logistics (ACL) is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to own and drive strategic, cross-functional business initiatives across logistics and supply chain operations. As a thought leader on this team, you will develop next generation processes, tools, and systems, write documents that present a clear operational strategy, and ensure scalable solutions that support the growth of the AWS cloud. You will leverage your analytical, technical, and program management skills to deliver high-impact improvements across global logistics operations.

Key job responsibilities

Work with stakeholders across business and technical teams to develop new systems and processes to support logistics and supply chain operations.

Determine customer needs and drive solutions.

Program manage global initiatives — define processes, owners, data inputs, dependencies, decision points, and key milestones. Create and own program/project plans and their prioritization and implementation.

Identify and organize resources across departments to meet required goals.

Solve complex issues; establish standards, processes, and system requirements.

Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including team members and executives. Synthesize a multitude of issues into a clear, concise, and focused message. Present with confidence and brevity.

Provide visibility into potential risks, issues, and blockers; develop mitigation plans and own resolution.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with engineering teams experience



Extended Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
