Description
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. Are you passionate about transforming how enterprises manage their financial operations through the power of agentic AI? Do you envision a future where intelligent automation eliminates the friction in contract-to-cash workflows — connecting the dots across contract management, billing, invoicing, collections, and cash application that no single system holds today? Then come help us bring the next generation of AI-powered financial intelligence to market at AWS.
As a Technical Customer Solutions Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to the customer, working at the intersection of AI, enterprise finance systems, and real-world business operations. You will own the end-to-end execution of design-partner engagements — driving delivery toward agreed success criteria, co-leading technical discovery across the customer's finance systems landscape, and guiding implementation from early engagement through production. You will be the connective tissue between the customer and our internal teams: running governance and delivery cadences, surfacing the voice of the customer into product and engineering, and ensuring every engagement converts into measurable value and reference-able outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
- Engagement Execution & Governance: Own end-to-end execution of design-partner engagements — drive delivery plans, run governance and status cadences, manage risks and escalations, and ensure engagements progress toward agreed KPIs and value-realization milestones
- Technical Discovery & Implementation: Co-lead technical discovery across the customer's finance systems landscape — IT environment, integration paths, and data inventory — and guide implementation across ERP, CLM, and AR systems, articulating trade-offs and partnering with the Solutions Architect on solution design
- Value Realization & Business Case: Co-create success criteria and business-value framing with finance stakeholders, building the case that connects AI-driven contract-to-cash adoption to measurable outcomes such as reduced DSO, recovered revenue leakage, and faster dispute resolution
- Voice of the Customer: Capture, structure, and surface customer feedback into product and engineering — maintaining a disciplined feedback loop and partnering with Product to prioritize gaps that unblock customer value, without owning the roadmap itself
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Build trusted relationships across technical and business stakeholders — from finance and IT practitioners to senior decision-makers — communicating clearly and driving alignment through a pre-GA environment where ambiguity is the norm
