Estimated salary: $191,450
Range: $162,700 - $220,200

Description

AWS Cloud Logistics is hiring a senior leader to run our Integrated Logistics team across North and South America. You'll own the end-to-end operational performance of the Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) that move, store, and stage infrastructure for AWS data centers across the Americas β€” setting the strategy, hitting the numbers, and building the team that gets us there.

You'll lead a team of managers and senior individual contributors responsible for daily warehousing and transportation operations, vendor performance, process standardization, and continuous improvement. You'll represent Integrated Logistics to senior AWS Infrastructure Services leaders and partner across Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Data Center Operations to scale capacity ahead of AWS growth.

This role might be for you if:

You've scaled multi-country logistics operations and have opinions on what "good" looks like at LSPs.

You turn ambiguous supply chain problems into structured programs with measurable outcomes.

You run vendors hard and fair β€” tight scorecards, clear escalation paths, real accountability.

You build leaders: hire well, coach managers, grow a deep bench.

You communicate cleanly from the dock floor to the SVP staff meeting.

Key job responsibilities

Lead the Integrated Logistics team covering all of North and South America, including managers of managers, site leads, and senior program managers

Own regional operational KPIs β€” service levels, cost per unit, inventory accuracy, quality defects, safety, on-time delivery

Set the 1- and 3-year strategy for Integrated Logistics in the Americas; build the operating plan and defend it in senior business reviews

Manage the LSP portfolio β€” QBRs, performance scorecards, commercial negotiations, escalation handling, and strategic partnership development

Drive standardization across sites and countries; eliminate root causes of recurring defects and scale playbooks across the network

Partner with Procurement on sourcing strategy, RFX events, and contract structure for regional logistics spend

Own the budget for regional Integrated Logistics operations; deliver annual cost-out commitments

Hire, develop, and retain a strong team of ops managers across both regions; set the bar for performance and culture

Travel approximately 30–40% across the Americas β€” US, Mexico, Brazil, and other LATAM markets

About the team

Reuse the standard AWS Cloud Logistics / AWS Infrastructure Services paragraph from the L5 template verbatim β€” recruiting will expect the canonical language here.
