Description
AWS Cloud Logistics is hiring a senior leader to run our Integrated Logistics team across North and South America. You'll own the end-to-end operational performance of the Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) that move, store, and stage infrastructure for AWS data centers across the Americas β setting the strategy, hitting the numbers, and building the team that gets us there.You'll lead a team of managers and senior individual contributors responsible for daily warehousing and transportation operations, vendor performance, process standardization, and continuous improvement. You'll represent Integrated Logistics to senior AWS Infrastructure Services leaders and partner across Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Data Center Operations to scale capacity ahead of AWS growth.

Key job responsibilities
Lead the Integrated Logistics team covering all of North and South America, including managers of managers, site leads, and senior program managers
Own regional operational KPIs β service levels, cost per unit, inventory accuracy, quality defects, safety, on-time delivery
Set the 1- and 3-year strategy for Integrated Logistics in the Americas; build the operating plan and defend it in senior business reviews
Manage the LSP portfolio β QBRs, performance scorecards, commercial negotiations, escalation handling, and strategic partnership development
Drive standardization across sites and countries; eliminate root causes of recurring defects and scale playbooks across the network
Partner with Procurement on sourcing strategy, RFX events, and contract structure for regional logistics spend
Own the budget for regional Integrated Logistics operations; deliver annual cost-out commitments
Hire, develop, and retain a strong team of ops managers across both regions; set the bar for performance and culture
Travel approximately 30β40% across the Americas β US, Mexico, Brazil, and other LATAM markets

Basic qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, transportation, or high-volume manufacturing operations
7+ years of people management experience, including 3+ years managing managers
Experience leading multi-site operations across multiple countries
Experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs/LSPs) at scale, including commercial negotiation and performance management
Experience owning an operational P&L or multi-million-dollar operating budget
Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent) and using data to drive operational decisions
Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies at scale
Preferred qualifications
MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field
Experience leading logistics operations in both North America and Latin America
Working proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
Experience in data centers, hyperscale cloud infrastructure, or other high-growth technology operations
Track record of cost reduction through network redesign, LSP consolidation, or structured sourcing events
Experience scaling logistics networks during periods of rapid capacity growth or geographic expansion
Experience with import/export, customs, and cross-border logistics in the Americas
Experience partnering with engineering, hardware, or data center construction teams on infrastructure programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing, commodity management or program management experience- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production/Procurement, Distribution, Logistics or related environment/operations experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Experience in a multi-site environment
- Experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs/LSPs) at scale, including commercial negotiation and performance management
Extended Qualifications
- Experience leading logistics operations in both North America and Latin America- Track record of cost reduction through network redesign, LSP consolidation, or structured sourcing events
- Experience scaling logistics networks during periods of rapid capacity growth or geographic expansion

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
