Description

The AWS Activate team is seeking a talented, driven, and detail-oriented Startup Onboarding Manager to play a pivotal role in onboarding and supporting startups using the AWS platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of customer operations, program management, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-growing business. As an Onboarding Manager, you will manage the end-to-end onboarding process for startups enrolling in the AWS Activate program (startups.aws), including reviewing applications, working across multiple internal tools to validate customer information, and issuing program credits.

Key job responsibilities

- Responding to external and internal customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

- Handle sensitive customer data adhering to internal data security protocol to process customer credit applications.

- Leverage dashboards and third party data to deep dive into customer applications

- Work with the Investments team to test and launch new credit programs for startups.

- Collaborate with the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to manage the implementation of new program launches, address customer impact, prioritize the feature backlog, and suggest operational/UX enhancements.

- Analyze customer data and application trends to surface insights, improve processes, and achieve operational goals.

- Communicate progress and insights to business leadership.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in customer operations, program management, or a similar role

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

- Proven experience in implementing standardized processes, driving automation, and improving operational efficiency

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable working with data and dashboards



Extended Qualifications

- Advanced Excel experience; MACRO programing a bonus

- Familiarity with SQL and the ability to deep dive into backend data sources

- Experience working with or in the startup ecosystem

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
