Description
The AWS Activate team is seeking a talented, driven, and detail-oriented Startup Onboarding Manager to play a pivotal role in onboarding and supporting startups using the AWS platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of customer operations, program management, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-growing business. As an Onboarding Manager, you will manage the end-to-end onboarding process for startups enrolling in the AWS Activate program (startups.aws), including reviewing applications, working across multiple internal tools to validate customer information, and issuing program credits.Key job responsibilities
- Responding to external and internal customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle sensitive customer data adhering to internal data security protocol to process customer credit applications.
- Leverage dashboards and third party data to deep dive into customer applications
- Work with the Investments team to test and launch new credit programs for startups.
- Collaborate with the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to manage the implementation of new program launches, address customer impact, prioritize the feature backlog, and suggest operational/UX enhancements.
- Analyze customer data and application trends to surface insights, improve processes, and achieve operational goals.
- Communicate progress and insights to business leadership.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree- 3-5 years of relevant experience in customer operations, program management, or a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience in implementing standardized processes, driving automation, and improving operational efficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable working with data and dashboards
Extended Qualifications
- Advanced Excel experience; MACRO programing a bonus- Familiarity with SQL and the ability to deep dive into backend data sources
- Experience working with or in the startup ecosystem

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
