Description

Are you interested in building tools that drive cultural changes across AWS and Amazon? Do you love working with a diverse set of customers and engineers? Do you want to make new tools that make it easy for builders to secure third-party applications? Are you excited by solving problems that no other company has solved?

Salesforce Success Central (SFSC) delivers products and solutions that improve the return on investment in our enterprise-wide Salesforce deployments, deliver products that make running Salesforce at Amazon scale easier, and improve overall governance and security by operating Salesforce at Amazon scale. The Security Enablement Team, within SFSC, is looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead and build products that monitor Salesforce and deliver user experiences that help service owners improve their operational maturity. You will own the tools and products we deliver to secure Salesforce orgs at Amazon. Our tools are primarily built in AWS with a Salesforce UX. You will partner with software engineers, security engineers, and enterprise security to develop innovative technologies that engage Salesforce owners throughout Amazon. With a customer first approach to solving security challenges, we enable service owners to improve the maturity of their operations.

We have a team culture that encourages innovation where team members and management alike have a high degree of ownership for their vision and execution of ideas. Beyond a deep technical background and proven track record of building secure products, a successful candidate will have experience driving strategy and operations. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, someone that approaches complex business questions with data and curiosity, and a person that dives below the surface to identify the root cause and "so what" rather than just superficial trends.

Key job responsibilities

• Hire, motivate, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, providing them with appropriate opportunities to succeed in their career objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work effectively with product managers and software engineers on other Commerce Platform teams to ensure the successful delivery of features.

• Ensure timely execution of key organizational automation goals and customer launches by removing blockers and reducing execution risks.

• Work closely with the leadership team to provide input on WPR, OP1, roadmaps, and strategic discussions.

• Be deeply involved with engineers to architect and develop scalable technical designs and approaches.

• Design and maintain secure operational excellence to reduce lead times and maintain the operations of critical services.

• Clearly communicate technical decisions and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.
