You will contribute to defining and building the next go-to-market (GTM) platform for the AWS Sales organization. In addition to working on the latest Salesforce technologies, you’ll have the opportunity to innovate in the space of Sales Planning and Management. You’ll be chartered with creating and operating applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field, and with embedding operational knowledge and encoding best practices into everything we do. The right candidate will have a robust system delivery background, well-rounded technical knowledge, and demonstrated experience working on large scale projects. The candidate must be customer-obsessed, have strong analytical and communication skills, and thrive on solving challenging business problems. The candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with multiple teams. You will design and build scalable platforms that enable AWS to sell new products and services with the necessary speed to market.

We're looking for individuals who are comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy solving large scale business challenges, and enjoy working in a startup-like environment.
Key job responsibilities
• Perform technical analysis, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customization
• Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architecture solutions that best use Salesforce Territory Planning/Salesforce Maps.
• Support cross systems and related integrations across Salesforce eco system
• Build solutions on Salesforce.com platform, including development in Force.com, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Apex and Web Services
• Work with a cross-functional Scrum team to maintain and enhance Salesforce applications in iterative release cycles
• Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues
• Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science or a related field- certification as a Salesforce Platform Developer
- Experience developing web services or with Salesforce API, Metadata and other APIs (REST, SOAP)
- Experience implementing Salesforce Lightning applications using Salesforce platform tools and technologies, such as Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning App Builder
- 4+ years of experience developing on Salesforce platform
Extended Qualifications
- Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global cross-functional teams- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Experience implementing Salesforce Territory Planning/Maps and CRM Analytics
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling and database schema
- Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts and how they influence design
- Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles
- Demonstrated success in implementing at least two full life cycle SFDC implementation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
