The Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) team is looking for a Jr. Reliability Engineer (Jr. RE) to lead the way in this exciting space! Key job responsibilities

• Have subject matter expertise for critical MHE and Original Equipment Manufacturer assets, and be able to build knowledge on at the introduction of new assets into the network.

• Support Reliability and Sr. Reliability Engineers with technical insight for large-scale industrial engineering projects.

• Work with complex conveyance applications and process design based on Lean Manufacturing.

• Support Reliability and Sr. Reliability Engineers with the management of budget, critical spare components, purchase orders, and change orders that are needed to complete capital projects related to critical equipment assets.

• Complete critical equipment audits and site health assessments in accordance with corporate standards and procedures relating to material handling, processing and storage.

• Facilitate process improvement initiatives among site operations, engineering, and corporate systems groups.

• Develop maintenance standards, documentation, and practices for critical assets.

• Work across multiple business units to help identify root cause and actions for major equipment downtime events.

• Support data collection and the forecasting of end of life for critical MHE equipment.

• On-site Technical and Quality Oversight (TQO) during critical equipment rebuilds.

• Travel up to 50% domestically.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in maintenance or engineering

• Experience using project management software, Microsoft Office, asset management software and CAD software (AutoCAD)



Extended Qualifications

• Expertise for critical MHE and Original Equipment Manufacturer assets

• Experience in technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $93,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
