Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world-class candidates to help drive opportunities with our Private Equity backed ISV customers.As a Sr. Portfolio Growth Leader, you will be at the nexus of a three-way partnership: AWS, Private Equity Firms, and ISV portfolio companies. You will develop and execute strategies to grow the top-line revenue of PE ISV portfolio companies through the AWS Partner Network, in partnership with peer teams in the Private Equity Firm and Sales professionals in the portfolio companies. You will develop a deep working partnership with the Private Equity Firms and their ISV portfolio companies, create clear three-way targets, rally internal resources to scale the ISV portfolio companies’ top-line revenue, and own the overall program execution. Do you have the business savvy, the technical insight, and the background necessary to mesh with the PE and ISV ecosystems, and to help further establish Amazon as the leader in the cloud computing space?
The ideal candidate will possess a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level and a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. They should have a demonstrated ability to analyze and think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the skill to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.
Key job responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Serve as a key member of the ISV Private Equity Sales team in helping to drive portfolio strategy.
• Have a broad, holistic view of the AWS Partner community in local and regional markets and a deep understanding of partner capabilities and solutions that will delight AWS customers.
• Execute strategic business development plans while working with key external (e.g. Private Equity partners, ISV portfolio company executives) and internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, partners, marketing, support, etc.).
• Work closely with PE Firms and the portfolio companies to ensure they are successful using our services and have the technical resources required.
• Understand and actively utilize salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems.
• Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to driving programs.
• Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market.
• Some relevant business level technical knowledge is required, such as: database systems, core distributed computing concepts, fundamentals of cloud computing and virtualization, storage systems, content delivery networks (CDNs) etc. with ability to go deep enough on technical aspects to differentiate between varied AWS services.

Qualifications
- • 10+ years of field sales experience combined with partner engagement experience with a software, cloud, or technology vendor or vendors, working directly with Partners and Sales teams to create business and technology outcomes for Customers- • 10+ years of demonstrated experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Sales reps and managers, solutions architects, Partner and direct marketing, business development, and other functional teams
- • Bachelor's degree
- • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Extended Qualifications
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations- Experience working with Private Equity and ISV companies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
