Description

The Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that supports the partner learning journey, program launches, and reinforces strategic messaging to, thru, and with AWS Partners. This role oversees the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality content across various channels to engage decision-makers and technical audiences, drive awareness and AWS Training and Certification (T&C) offerings, and ultimately contribute to business growth. This role also oversees the strategic plans for program launches with AWS Training Partners and the content required to amplify T&C new product launches to the AWS Partner community. This role will be at the intersection of collaborating across multiple teams including campaign planning, product marketing teams, launch management, PR, and social media to extend the reach and visibility of the team’s content and launches.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple high-profile marketing projects simultaneously. This key team member should have excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills, in order to be able to tell a partner-centric story that resonates with our core audiences. In addition, the role requires the ability to analyze content and launch effectiveness and optimize continuously.

Key job responsibilities

-Develop co-launch strategies and plans with high priority AWS Training Partners to reach new customers and build net-new pipeline.

-Develop, refresh, and deliver partner content across web, marketing playbooks, collateral, course catalog, slides, infographics, eBooks, multimedia videos, and PR templates.

-Identify planned T&C product and program launches to determine partner audience relevance and design content and communication strategy accordingly.

-Develop and implement marketing content to promote on AWS Partner Central including T&C offers, new announcements, and upcoming courses and exam preparation materials available.

-Create and publish blog posts on the T&C and AWS Partner Network blogs and ensure organic social and social boosting activity to educate the Partner audience on new products and solutions and highlight partner success stories.

-Manage cross-promotion of T&C across internal and external newsletter communications.

Identify content gaps and areas of investment for content production based on existing content inventory and the needs of Partner T&C.

-Optimize and repurpose existing content assets to maximize their reach and impact for the AWS Partner audience across multiple channels.

-Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with their needs and challenges.

-Lead planning and execution of content creation with supporting agencies to product high-quality, engaging content that resonates with AWS Partners.

Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

- Experience communicating results to senior leadership



Extended Qualifications

- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to produce compelling and engaging content that resonates with AWS Partners.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
