We aspire to be part of our customers’ everyday lives by offering them unique products at compelling prices backed by Amazon’s strong customer obsessed reputation.The Role: We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Manager Product Management - Tech to help build a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for Global Private Brands. Product development in Private Brands is a complex and global process. Some of the steps involved in getting a product from inception to the customer include Product design, Quality certification, Third-party and in-house testing, Mass production, Finalizing product label and packing. Finally, since this is a Global platform that will serve the needs of not just Hardlines, Softlines and Consumables Private Brands teams, but also manufacturers and vendors, the unique requirements driven by region, type of products and external entities such as test labs add layers of complexity. These different workflows involve complex sub-tasks and interactions with different retail systems, making this a truly complex and challenging capability with deep tentacles across many systems. The goal of this platform is to improve speed of product development, enable process standardization, drastically reduce the time to market, and enhance productivity across the different stages of product development. You will work with stakeholders across the US & EU & APAC in Hardlines, Softlines, and Consumables Private Brands teams to define requirements and deliver technical products that Private Brands manufacturers and internal love.
What do we expect you to do? You will define the product, set the vision and build this solution from scratch. This is a unique role that offers a great opportunity to build something new, work cross functionally across strategic businesses, and interact with global stakeholders. This will be no easy feat as this involves alternating between big picture thinking and obsessing with the details, identify risks, have exceptional written and verbal skills, be comfortable presenting to senior leadership, drive alignment amongst stakeholders, and be a true product owner.
Ideal candidates will:
- Develop a deep understanding of the WW Private Brands product development process.
- Deliver a PRFAQ articulate the north-star for the PLM capability we need to improve our product development velocity
- Own the development of detailed product requirements documents.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and project management teams to deliver on the product roadmap.
Drive projects, products, and feature launches with WW Private Brands teams: Hardlines, Consumables, Softlines, international teams and other stakeholders including legal, marketing, finance, customer service and operations.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of team management experience- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
