Multiple Positions Available:

Lead a team of Learning Experience Designers to develop creative,

modern, engaging and effective training solutions that help associates,

safety professionals, managers, engineers, and maintenance technicians

build capabilities in a fast moving and diverse business; Work backwards

with business and program teams to maximize leaner experience (LX),

over end-to-end of Analysis-Design-Development-Implement-Evaluation

(ADDIE) cycle; Develop, innovate, and own Learning Experience Design

(LXD) strategy and road map to continuously raise the bar on the learner

experience; Measure learning impact and continuously up-level program

qualities; Monitor industry trends and apply best practices from outside

and internal Amazon L&D communities; Collaborate with subject matter

experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to understand training needs; Evaluate

existing training to identify opportunities to maximize the effectiveness of

learning, through re-design; Scope, design, and develop training that is

both engaging and informative; Manage content source files in shared

libraries; Manage course content and training session scheduling within

our Learning Management System; Maintain and monitor all course

content, assessments, and reporting data within the learning

management system; Support continual process improvement to ensure

we are building high-quality, scalable programs for our audiences;

Leverage technology to improve learners' access to knowledge and

provide just-in-time learning; Participate in a community of learning

professionals to share best practices and identify emerging learning

needs; Effective communicator and efficient manager with the ability to

handle multiple, competing priorities and coordinate work across teams.

Domestic travel up to 20% to perform role responsibilities may be

required

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $158350 - $205800)

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Education Technology, Instructional Design, Training, Adult Education, Visual Communications or related discipline and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Experience must include:

(1) 3 years of experience in instructional design or adult learning.

(2) 3 years of experience designing and developing training materials and content to include creating instructor-led materials, online/elearning modules, job aids, online tutorials, multimedia products and other training materials.

(3) 3 years of experience in direct people management.

(4) 3 years of experience using video editing tools (Final Cut, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Camtasia or similar tools)

(5) 3 years of experience working with and integrating the use of knowledge bases and online reference for learning and performance support.

The pay range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $158350 - $205800 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
