This role will lead planning and execution for NA Direct Fulfillment’s country level strategy for Mexico/Canada market place determining selection for these two marketplaces, vendors and carriers to be onboarded and leading the launch and expansion of this new marketplace.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Manager (L7) to lead our DF-Mexico and Canada marketplace. This role will lead planning and execution for NA Direct Fulfillment’s country level strategy for Mexico & Canada market place determining selection for the country, vendors and carriers to be onboarded and leading the launch and expansion of this new marketplace.
- Work with partners in Mexico/Canada Retail to onboard vendors on DF, lead the carrier strategy (3P and 1P Carriers) to align capacity to demand, with respect to origin location, size, special handling requirements, and speed expectations.
- Influence the vision, lead OP2 doc for MX/CA and own goals for DF expansion in the country, transportation Execution and provide visibility to key metrics through regular business reviews with internal stakeholders and Leaders (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Business Reviews).
- Work with Direct Fulfillment colleagues in Business Development, Account Management, Product, Tech to build processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations and drive growth towards program goals.
- Measure quality of services (DEA, Speed, Profitability, Volume). Develop mechanisms to provide visibility to performance and hold partners accountable.

About the team
The Amazon SCOT organization is expanding our Direct Fulfillment (DF) team. The Direct Fulfillment channel allows Amazon to fulfill customer orders directly from our vendor’s warehouse, and is one of the fastest growing supply channels at Amazon. Through Direct Fulfillment (a.k.a dropship), our team enables broad in-stock selection for Amazon’s customers, at the quality and speed of delivery they have come to expect.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- 4+ years of managing teams experience
- 6+ years of program or project management experience
- Fluency in English and added benefit of knowing Spanish (Verbal, Written communication)
Extended Qualifications
- MBA- 9+ years of supply chain experience
- Proven experience in E-commerce supply chain and working fast paced dynamic environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
