The Global Services (GS) enablement lead owns and implements enablement initiatives aligned to the GS activation strategy, offerings/portfolio and priorities. The role partners across the business with the GS Go-to-Market (GTM) Activation team, AWS field teams, Service and Industry Specialist teams, and GS Business Development and Sales teams.

Key to the success of this role is the ability to jump in, gain a deep understanding of the business, and effectively partner across multiple teams and organizations to deliver results. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong ownership and accountability and will consistently deliver results in a fast paced, matrixed organization. This position will work with a broad set of stakeholders including, Go-To-Market Strategy, Specialized Sales, Marketing, Field Enablement Center of Excellence Teams and global Business Unit Aligned Enablement Teams.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, works effectively cross-functionally, and accurately translates business needs into impactful business outcomes. They have prior experience with Sales Enablement, leading large programs, and deep understanding of how a professional services organization operates. This is a hands-on position, with the ideal candidate willing to ā€œroll up their sleevesā€ and get things done.

Key job responsibilities

- Translate business needs into a field enablement strategy and plan.

- Perform detailed needs assessments in coordination with internal stakeholders.

- Create, develop, manage, and measure impact of enablement assets and programs.

- Partner with relevant leaders and stakeholders across geographies and business units to understand key priorities/requirements and implement a scalable strategy to address.

- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to extract and interpret insights to guide an effective enablement strategy.

- Develop project and workback plans to support delivery.

- Accountable for successfully managing all stages (from concept to delivery) of one or more large enablement programs to meet challenging business goals.

- Identify program metrics, report on insights to articulate enablement impact, and identify opportunities for iteration and improvement.

- Leverage strong writing skills to communicate to leadership and stakeholders through regular touch points (monthly business reviews, strategy narratives, document reviews, etc.)



Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- 5+ years of experience working in Enablement, Adult Learning or Professional Services in a large, complex organization



Extended Qualifications

- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations

- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and managing internal stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
