Key job responsibilities

• Implement best practices in modern software engineering, front-end application architecture/design and operational excellence

• Translate requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture

• Write high-quality code and participate in design and code reviews to maintain our high development standards

• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end developers to design and implement cutting-edge user interfaces that meet business requirements and enhance user engagement

• Generate documentation to support regulatory requirements

• Encourage and support knowledge-sharing within team and external groups

• Mentor other engineers

• Implement unit/integration testing and test automation.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

- 2+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of a large scale front end application.

- 2+ years of experience developing front-end application using React or React Native



Extended Qualifications

- 2+ years of agile software development methodology experience

- 1+ years of experience developing Mobile application

- 1+ years of experience mentoring junior engineers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
