Description
Are you a digital marketer that loves platforms and processes, and wants to make a global impact? Come join the team responsible for developing campaigns that promote AWS's priority solution themes & services and Tier 1 events! We centrally develop lead generation, adoption, and registration campaigns and collaborate with our regional marketing teams to deploy these campaigns globally.A Digital Marketing Manager on this team will utilize our platforms to execute on digital marketing programs that scale to multiple languages and regions globally, implement best practices, foster better customer experiences, and make continuous improvements based on data and insight. The ideal candidate has experience building and activating multi-channel marketing campaigns. You have baseline technical marketing expertise with contemporary marketing automation and project management platforms (Marketo and Workfront preferred) and solid experience in the email channel specifically.
Key job responsibilities
· Maintains the day-to-day management and optimization of our email channel and digital operations including the development, QA, deployment, and reporting for Global Campaigns and Tier 1 events (AWS Summits, Innovate, re:Inforce & re:Invent)
· Collaborates with campaign leads, in-region Field Marketing Managers, Events Marketing, Product Marketing, platform owners, and other internal stakeholders to create the best digital experiences
· Drives and makes recommendations regarding how to most effectively engage customers within digital channels (e.g. cadence, frequency, etc.)
· Implements the targeting and customer segmentation for digital campaigns
· Develops and executes test plans across all digital channels
· Establishes and maintains scalable processes that ensure best practices for email, social channels, paid media, and internal reporting
· Provides campaign performance, analysis and communicates and implements timely optimizations to drive results
· Manages the maintenance of a library of assets and campaigns including asset hierarchy, asset management, etc.
· Supports localization process for the campaign, including supporting Localization and Activation for international geographies

The Global Campaigns & Virtual Programs Digital Marketing Team are a group of platform and process experts that deliver our scaled programs for stakeholder teams globally and in upward of 12 supported languages. We over-index in Ownership, Earn Trust, Learn and Be Curious, and Invent & Simplify.
The Digital Marketing Team sits within Global Campaigns & Virtual Programs under the Global Integrated Marketing organization at AWS. We are primarily responsible for the success of mid-funnel marketing activities.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- 1+ years of designing, building, and launching successful email engagement programs, specifically lifecycle/nurture programs experience
- 1+ years of Salesforce, Tableau, Vidyard, and Excel experience
Extended Qualifications
- Experience using data visualization tools- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Knowledge of email best practices and a/b testing methodologies within Marketo
- Experience working with global cross-functional teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $53,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
