From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.As a Design Program Manager for Packaging Technical Publications, you'll be the innovator for our packaging solutions championing design excellence across Leo's diverse and worldwide portfolio of products and customers. You'll be a member of an agile design team to craft an unboxing experience that balances simplicity, accessibility, and sustainability while creating customer delight. You'll develop global and regional technical publications, collaborating across Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering, UX, Brand, and Research teams. You'll navigate technical constraints while delivering elegant solutions that align with strategic design vision. Your role encompasses starts with a hands-on attention to design details and customer experience starting from initial concept development throughout the full product life cycle.
You will collaborate on packaging design initiatives spanning customer terminals and accessories to be used in markets across the world ranging from new to technology and service to those with experience. You are aware of regional and language for different cultures ensure translations are informative for each culture. We're seeking a creative program manager who solves complex design challenges with refined, impactful solutions while upholding brand consistency and elevating our packaging design aesthetic. The ideal candidate brings both creative vision and business acumen, with a deep understanding of global markets and emerging trends in packaging technology, materials, and design. You have an exceptional eye for detail, are articulate, and embrace ambiguity.
Export Control Requirement:

Key job responsibilities
* Lead cross functional teams through design, concept development, and the execution of print production for all language variants.
* Enhance design practices within the team through processes like critiques and design sprints, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Distill complex information into accessible, engaging design deliverables.
* Ability to cut through ambiguity on complex topics and confidently articulate concepts and present work to senior leaders and executives, and other strategic partners via clear, compelling storytelling.
* Demonstrates eagerness to embrace innovative approaches while maintaining a strong commitment to personal growth and team development.
* Provide mentorship and creative feedback to designers, cultivating talent while upholding exceptional design standards.
* Oversee production execution, ensuring quality control, color accuracy, and adherence to material specifications.
* Create a world class consumer experience by shaping the full packaging journey—from striking shelf presence to a memorable unboxing moment for all countries and preferred languages of customers.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of design experience- Knowledge of branding guidelines and corporate identity, visual design, print and digital layout design
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suit applications, with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative software, primarily Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop/Indesign at an advanced level
Extended Qualifications
- Knowledge of project management tools and software- Experience working and contributing to project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, establishing communication plans and stakeholder management

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
