Description

The purpose of the Day 1 Delivery team (D1D) is to ensure the successful and high-quality delivery of ProServe services to our customers. D1D is accountable for crafting and upholding the global delivery framework, which establishes standards, ensures a consistent delivery experience, and provides a unified approach for evaluating delivery across our engagements. Additionally, the team is constructing a Quality Management Framework to enhance visibility and risk management across the entire process, from sales to delivery to transition and support. Collaboration with ProServe Business Development (PSBD), PSO Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), Global Services Security (GSS), and other stakeholders is underway to develop this framework. The third pillar, Governance and Community, encompasses a community of practice and a customer journey advisory board. These initiatives enable us to directly engage with the field, listen, learn, and build solutions that have a meaningful impact on our customers.

Key job responsibilities

- Build and lead a high-performing team of Professional Services Consultants to deliver innovative solutions for AWS customers and partners

- Develop strategic plans to expand AWS product and service offerings, driving opportunity capture and successful delivery

- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, training, and support teams to drive AWS adoption in key markets and accounts

- Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and executives to understand their business needs and architect transformative solutions

- Manage the full project lifecycle - planning, organizing, and executing to ensure successful delivery of complex, agile IT projects

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging career development and AWS certification for your team

- Meet and exceed customer satisfaction and business growth targets for your geographic region

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.



Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience leading teams in a professional services, consulting, or system integration environment

- Proven track record of driving successful IT transformations and delivering complex, large-scale projects using agile methodologies

- Deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies

- Prior project and program management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders

- Experience building and scaling high-performing, diverse teams based on agile principles

- Passionate about using technology to solve complex business problems and creating a positive customer experience

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $152,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
