Description

Amazon is seeking an CorpDev Integration Manager to join its Corporate Development team. This individual will lead due diligence and integration planning and execution efforts for Amazon's acquisitions. The role ranges from working with executive business sponsors to define key value drivers for potential acquisitions, writing and implementing actionable plans to achieve transaction objectives, to diving deep on tactical aspects of integration projects in need of extra attention.

Integration managers oversee and influence cross-functional diligence and integration teams to ensure all relevant activities are completed. Stakeholder groups include acquiring business and technology teams, HR, tax, branding, customer service, real estate, legal, finance, security, open source, accounting, and communications.

This role will lead cross-functional initiatives across the transaction lifecycle through 3-9 months post-close. They will motivate and inspire large and diverse teams, manage multiple projects on a real-time basis, and identify and resolve operational and integration challenges.

Successful integration managers at Amazon are self-starters, able to work autonomously, natural problem solvers, collaborative, and not fazed by adversity or ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities

1. Lead integration projects

2. Organize and lead the acquisition due diligence process to identify integration needs

3. Lead the definition of transaction rationale and create detailed integration plans to best enable a team to achieve its goals

4. Provide early, strategic and best practice insight to sponsoring business teams

5. Define, track and communicate appropriate performance measurements to project team and stakeholders

6. Work with functional area managers to align resources to integration plans

7. Communicate project priority and set project task priority for related teams

8. Prepare appropriate documentation to close out integration projects and facilitate effective hand-offs

9. Participate in the continuous improvement of Amazon's integration processes and best practices



Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

- 5+ years of professional or military experience

- 6+ years of complex cross-functional change management experience

- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects

- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

- Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity

- 6+ years of M&A integration experience within a Corporate Development function or management consultancy



Extended Qualifications

- 5+ years of management consulting, strategy, technology, venture capital, or a related industry experience

- Experience in post-close integration

- Experience in Change Management

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
