Description
At the Amazon Global Procurement Organization (GPO) Community Impact (CI) team, we partner with local non-profits and suppliers to create a positive impact in the local communities where we operate. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and purpose driven people.As a Community Impact, Data Reporting, Due Diligence and Regulations PM for the GPO CI team team, you will be responsible for tracking the team's project data, reporting and ensure compliance with existing Amazon’s Policies and external regulations on Community Impact/ Affected Communities . This person will need to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders within and outside GPO to help the team driving the GPO Community Impact strategy across the entire supply chain.
The role scope includes: 1/supporting deployment of GPO Community Impact strategy to measure and report social and economic contribution to local communities; 2/implementation of control and reporting mechanisms for compliance to all applicable internal policies, process & rules and government regulations on Affected Communities; 3/Source-To-Pay control and compliance reporting; 4/ Risk Management and deployment of remediation plans for non- adherence with policies and regulations; 5/ ensuring team’s compliance with existing Donation, Partnership and Sponsorships policies executing the required due diligence process.
The person in this role will need to partner with WW Sustainability, WW Social Responsibility, Public Relations Economic & Community Impact (PR ECI) teams to support the deployment of GPO Community Impact Strategy globally, including collaboration with GPO Supplier Diversity and Inclusion (SD&I), Global Procurement Sustainability (GPS), Global Procurement Category (GPC), Site Procurement Operations (SPO) and legal and finance teams.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in program management, communication skills, strong attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic. The right candidate is data-driven and comfortable working with writing and executing on various types of communications and working effectively in a fast-paced, and under high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience supporting high impact programs and working effectively across a number of stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Implement control and reporting mechanisms for compliance to all applicable internal policies, process & rules and government regulations related to impact on Affected Communities.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure community impact strategies are integrated into procurement practices and supplier relationship management.
- Facilitate implementation of mechanisms to measure, track and report GPO employees and suppliers economic & social contribution to local communities.
- Support community impact integration within standard procurement processes, policy and culture.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the progress towards achieving team’s KPI’s.
- Reviewing new and existing suppliers (legacy) ensuring that they meet Community Impact / Affected Communities regulation compliance, safety, terms of service standards, investigate suspicious suppliers' activities and behaviors that could pose a risk to Amazon, our customers, or partners.
- Driving cross-functional assessments of risks and due diligence process for partnerships, donations and sponsorships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- 3+ years of supply chain experience
- 2+ years of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups experience
- Experience and proficiency in tracking, monitoring and reporting on KPIs, regulation complianceand due diligence processes.
- Experience working with non-profit organizations, purpose-led procurement functions or similar

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $119,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
