Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a global leader in Cloud Computing, is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with experience in building and implementing lead management processes to support growth marketing programs and activities.

As a Growth Marketing Analyst, you'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for analyzing customer data, identifying growth opportunities, and developing insights-driven marketing strategies to accelerate the adoption of AWS services among ISVs, startups, and SMBs. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our customers and driving business growth. Oftentimes, the ideal set of data may not be available, and you'll need to think creatively about what is accessible and what you can do to drive results. You will leverage your skillset in business, marketing, finance, simulation, and business intelligence to explain, quantify, predict, and prescribe solutions. You will know how to translate business and financial goals into agile, insightful analytics. Additionally, you will seek to create value for both stakeholders and customers, conveying findings in a clear, actionable manner to managers and senior leaders.

Key job responsibilities

- Collect, analyze, and interpret customer data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform marketing strategies and tactical execution.

- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation studies.

- Continuously explore new data sources, analytical techniques, and tools to enhance the team's analytical capabilities.

- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.

- Establish end-to-end reporting across multiple data sets.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

- Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets, updating existing metrics as well as creating new metrics.

- Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to the team based on your analysis and findings.

A day in the life

As a Growth Marketing Analyst at AWS, no two days are the same - you'll manipulate data, build dashboards, write SQL code, share strategic insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve problems, and drive the team's success through data-driven decision-making and innovative solutions.. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where data-driven decision-making is at the core of everything you do. Your ability to navigate ambiguity, think creatively, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams enables you to drive growth and success for AWS's ISV, startup, and SMB customers.
