Description

The AMXL External Injection Services (AXIS) team owns the lifecycle of any out of network vendor volume being serviced through AMXL. This role would be a seller experience lead supporting the newly launched Seller Flex program in Heavy Bulky.

As a strategic Supply Chain Manager, you'll take end-to-end ownership of the seller operations experience, emphasizing capacity planning, logistics optimization, network design, and analysis of operational efficiency.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, program management, product, finance, and more. Utilize your analytical prowess to identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement scalable systems, and drive automation to enhance efficiency, with a particular focus on optimizing the physical flow of packages for our seller flex partners. You would interface regularly with third party sellers to understand their pain points, suggest scalable solutions, and drive successful implementation.

Key job responsibilities

- Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency for MFN sellers through AMXL.

- Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex situations.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions (internal and external to Amazon), influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network goals.

- Manage cross-functional supply chain initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy at scale.

- Own a portfolio of cross-functional programs related to driving performance improvement in profitability, delivery estimate accuracy, and concessions.

- Create standard check in and scorecard mechanisms for 3P sellers to drive monthly conversations on performance and actions to improve.

- Travel to seller warehouses 20% of the time for on site support.

A day in the life

This leader will establish audit mechanisms to track seller-level performance, early/late shipping, and other key metrics, while also implementing process improvements and automation to enhance visibility and operational efficiency. They will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including MFN business devleopment, AMXL Middle Mile, and AMXL Last Mile teams, to align on priorities and drive collaborative solutions. They will also contribute to the development of the long-term AMXL strategy in seller flex, with a focus on scaling the program over a three year horizon.

About the team

The AXIS team manages end-to-end operations for oversized items through five specialized pillars: Vendor Management, First Mile Execution, Network Configuration, Demand Planning, and Customer Experience. We drive strategic planning and execution across the package lifecycle, focusing on vendor onboarding, network optimization, demand forecasting, transportation execution, and service performance. We collaborate closely with Business Development, Retail/HBS, carriers, and vendors to optimize performance and ensure seamless integration across the AMXL network. Our comprehensive approach enables us to effectively manage oversized deliveries while driving operational excellence and stakeholder value.



Qualifications

- 2+ years of program or project management experience

- 1+ years of supply chain experience



Extended Qualifications

- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology

- Experience in MS Access and SQL

- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
