Description
The AMXL External Injection Services (AXIS) team owns the lifecycle of any out of network vendor volume being serviced through AMXL. This role would own the customer expeirence vertical for this organziation, and lead all long term improvement strategies within this space.As a strategic Supply Chain Manager, you'll take end-to-end ownership of CX operations, emphasizing capacity planning, logistics optimization, network design, and analysis of operational efficiency.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, program management, product, finance, and more. Utilize your analytical prowess to identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement scalable systems, and drive automation to enhance efficiency, with a particular focus on optimizing the physical flow and operations within the supply chain network for our customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency for out of new vendors and sellers through AMXL.
- Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex situations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions (internal and external to Amazon), influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network goals.
- Manage cross-functional supply chain initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to lean philosophy at scale.
- Own a portfolio of cross-functional programs related to driving performance improvement in DEA and concessions for AMXL.
- Monitor, create and optimize key customer experience metrics (inputs and outputs) to ensure the smooth flow of goods or services through the supply chain network.
A day in the life
This leader will establish audit mechanisms to track vendor-level performance, early/late shipping, and other key metrics, while also implementing process improvements and automation to enhance visibility and operational efficiency. They will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including AMXL CX, Middle Mile, and Last Mile teams, to align on priorities and drive collaborative solutions. They will also contribute to the development of the long-term AMXL strategy, with a focus on improving the delivery experience, and identify and explore new initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
About the team
The AXIS team manages end-to-end operations for oversized items through five specialized pillars: Vendor Management, First Mile Execution, Network Configuration, Demand Planning, and Customer Experience. We drive strategic planning and execution across the package lifecycle, focusing on vendor onboarding, network optimization, demand forecasting, transportation execution, and service performance. We collaborate closely with Business Development, Retail/HBS, carriers, and vendors to optimize performance and ensure seamless integration across the AMXL network. Our comprehensive approach enables us to effectively manage oversized deliveries while driving operational excellence and stakeholder value.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
