Description
Amazon's Information Security team is looking for a security engineer well-versed in the network and system security space to join our security operations team. We are obsessed with protecting customer trust. We are a hands-on team working to protect our networks, endpoints, servers and applications. You will get the opportunity to work on large-scale security solutions spanning across multiple business units. You will work in the trenches with other security engineers, technical program managers, application developers and systems engineers to protect our customers and raise the security bar.Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities: 路 Preserve Amazon customer trust 路 Perform application security reviews of critical systems and services 路 Engineer security solutions to protect systems, networks and applications 路 Security design and testing of the most critical Amazon applications 路 Respond to security violations, vulnerabilities, and event detection systems 路 Provide security policy guidance and consultations 路 Evangelize security within Amazon and be an advocate for customer trust 路 Be part of a team on-call rotation
A day in the life

路 Develop and deliver projects that raise the security bar at scale
路 Work closely with partner teams, stakeholders, builders to drive security improvements across the company

Qualifications
- 2+ years of web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation (non-internship) experience- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and the development of exploits or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
